Sporty, contemporary and an undeniable part of the ZENITH El Primero family, the Chronomaster Sport is now available in an all-titanium version with a chromatic gray display.An ultra-light version!To enhance the elegant gray tones of grade 5 titanium, the 41 mm case of the Chronomaster Sport Titanium is mainly satin-brushed, including the crown and pump pushers. The bezel, also in titanium and engraved with a scale of 1/10th of a second, has a sunray satin finish that sets it apart from all other Chronomaster Sport references. The chamfers of the case, as well as the bezel edge and the caseback, are polished, which is only possible when working with top-quality titanium.As for the dial of the Chronomaster Sport Titanium, it reinterprets the Manufacture’s characteristic tricolor design in shades of grey, while retaining the discreet chromatisms of the case. The sun-brushed dial is finished in galvanized nickel grey and features chronograph counters in three different shades of anthracite, grey and silver. The date disk matches the dial.Finally, a big change for the Chronomaster Sport! For those looking for an even more sporty look and feel, ZENITH introduces with this watch a new line of bracelets developed for the Chronomaster Sport line as an alternative to the metal bracelets and also available separately. Made of durable, supple FKM rubber, considered the gold standard of rubber for its ability to withstand extreme heat and resistance to aggressive chemicals, the straps are designed to integrate perfectly with the case. Available in black, blue, green and white, the wristbands come with folding clasps. On this model, the strap is a black rubber.Why titanium?Titanium offers many advantages over the traditional alloys used in watchmaking. Zenith has built on the foundations of the El Primero caliber and five decades of studies and improvements to the El Primero and high-frequency chronographs to offer us here, for the first time, a display accurate to 1/10th of a second from the 5 Hz escapement (36,600 a/h) in direct reading on its bezel. This El Primero caliber, christened the 3600, has a generous power reserve of 60 hours – no mean feat with such a fast heart! Through the sapphire crystal case-back, you can admire the architecture of this marvel, as well as the blue column wheel and the openworked rotor marked with the five-pointed star.
