CBN2A1F.FC6492 is the first result of this exceptional collaboration. Launched in 1963, the Carrera is one of the first emblematic lines designed by Jack Heuer. Heuer had been captivated by a Mexican road race known as the Carrera Panamerica. He naturally chose this evocative name, which means “race”, to enhance his racing chronograph with its sleek, highly legible design.A closer look at the Carrera PorscheCarrera is an emblematic name that has been associated with TAG Heuer and Porsche for generations, so it was natural to choose it for their first joint creation. Based on the sporty design of the TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph, it boasts a large number of aesthetic features inspired by Porsche: Porsche inscription engraved on the bezel, Porsche font on the indexes, use of the Porsche colors red, black and gray, rotor redesigned in homage to the famous Porsche steering wheel, transparent case glass marked with the inscriptions “Porsche” and “TAG Heuer”, asphalt effect on the dial…Motor sideThis new chronograph had to be fitted with an exceptional engine, and this was achieved with the use of the new in-house caliber, the Heuer 02 chronograph movement. Equipped with a vertical clutch and a column wheel, it has an 80-hour power reserve. The well-balanced Tri-Compax arrangement of the subdials and the attention to detail given to the asphalt gray dial and its finishing treasures are a reflection of this legendary partnership.Every detail mattersThe Carrera Porsche special edition is featuring two versions. This reference CBN2A1F.FC6492 is equipped with a new embossed black calf leather strap with white stitching echoing the interior of the Porsche. This watch will be delivered to you in a customized box. The black case of the watch features the TAG Heuer and Porsche logos in white letters. You will find a travel case in the box, black on the outside and red on the inside that perfectly reflects the spirit of Porsche.
