This movement is not new per se, but until now we’ve only seen it in action in highly prized limited editions (Apollo XI and Silver Snoopy Award).This new 3861 chronograph movement is partly based on the calibre 1861 even though it has no less than 50% new components. It has a Co-Axial escapement, which reduces friction and increases its precision, which is between 0 and +5 seconds per day on average. Officially certified by the METAS, this calibre is capable of withstanding magnetic fields of over 15,000 gauss and has a power reserve of 50 hours.
